Critical Facilities Coordinator

About the role:
Gyron is a rapidly growing part of NTT, the world’s largest telecommunications service provider, and provides highly resilient and energy efficient datacentre services, supporting business critical IT applications for customers such as Adobe, Salesforce, Sky, Sony, Spotify and IBM, from five state-of-the-art datacentre facilities in the South East of England.

You'll be responsible for the efficient and effective reporting, auditing and notifying of maintenance activities across two of the four Companies datacentres in Hemel Hempstead. You will use your excellent organisational and risk assessing skills to ensure services are delivered to a high standard. 

Specifically, you will:

  • Act as main point of contact for external vendors and clients 
  • Correspond to all emails, raise tasks and deliver tasks to customers 
  • Coordinate and manage maintenance notifications from vendors and report to clients as required 
  • Collate and review method statements and risk assessments, and highlight any risks that are apparent from a business continuity perspective. 
  • Ensure maintenance is being carried out as per maintenance schedules. 
  • Create periodic client reports in line with agreed SLA’s and KPI’s, capturing all required data. 
  • Ensuring access lists for all sites are up to date in line with SLA’s 
  • Provide support to the department taking telephone calls 
  • Liaise with vendors on repairs and maintenance issues. 
  • Ensure compliance with ISO Security, Fire and Health & Safety related policies and procedures 
  • Assist with Health & Safety compliance 
  • Support the business by planning and scheduling works with external vendors 
  • Update systems, maintain information and carry out general administrative tasks. 
  • Provide admin support 
  • Any other reasonable duty or request as deemed appropriate by Management 


About you:
To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Administrative experience with excellent attention to detail. 
  • Good numerical and literacy skills and high levels of computer literacy. 
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise. 
  • Good analytical/ problem solving skills 
  • The ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good relationship building skills. 
  • To be customer focused. 
  • Self-motivated and keen to develop, with a willingness and desire to learn 
  • Keen to share knowledge with colleagues 
  • To possess initiative with an inquisitive nature, unafraid to ask appropriate questions 
  • To possess a clean full UK driving licence
  • To undergo full security checks to BS7858:2012
